Welcome to Middle School Reading!
I began my teaching career in the Fall of 2000 at St. Michael’s Catholic School in Coopersville. There I taught a fifth sixth split for six years. I came to St. Anthony's in the Fall of 2006. I taught one year of Middle School English. I had the pleasure of teaching fourth grade for ten years. I will now be moving back to the Junior High teaching Language Arts. I look forward to using my love for reading as well as all my training in educating the students. I graduated high school from Coopersville Public School and got my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Central Michigan University. I then received a Master’s degree in Reading from Western Michigan University. I have also been adjunct instructor from 2006-2012 for both Grand Valley State University and Ferris State University. Besides spending time with my family and friends, I enjoy scrapbooking, and reading. My husband and I have two young sons, Isaac and Lucas.
